Well, I hope you’re happy Tesco’s – I have now revised my shopping habits and am using the local butcher shop for my meat products. This is a direct result of dodgy dates with the meat products on sale in the shop where I live.
I would advise anyone to do the same. The range of yummy products available at the butcher shop puts Tesco’s meagre date-dodgy offerings to shame.
If you are looking for chicken, I would heartily recommend you get yours from Marks and Spencer. The chicken comes pre-stuffed, basted and is in a very convenient foil base that simply needs popped into the oven. Wrapped in tinfoil it cooks to splendid perfection.
Price-wise, it’s actually 12p per kilo cheaper than Tesco’s fresh chicken – even with the pre-preparation.
