Watching Sky News this morning I was appalled to hear Jon Gaunt, a columnist in the Sun newspaper and presenter of ‘The Jon Gaunt Show‘ on TalkSport radio, state that Gordon Brown is a “Scottish MP from a Scottish Constituency and shouldn’t be Prime Minister”.
He had just been talking about how it was right and proper to fine a man for putting his feet up on a seat on a train and how ‘zero tolerance’ should be the order of the day. He was correct – there should be zero tolerance of bigoted morons. Or perhaps he would prefer the Scots dip their cap whenever an Englishman walks into the room?
There should be no place for this man on any national media.
