Exporting email accounts – Outlook 2003

How to export email accounts from Outlook 2003 to a new computer.

Before you begin, please note that this will not export your passwords. It will export all of the settings and save you from having to re-enter all of your email accounts from scratch. Passwords will still have to be entered manually.

Start > Microsoft Office > Microsoft Tools > Microsoft Office 2003 Save My Settings Wizard

Follow the wizard. It only takes a few seconds.

This will create a file ‘New Settings File.OPS’

Move that to your new computer then use the same tool to import your settings on the new computer and viola, job done.
